Through the demonstration of practical, interactive, solution-oriented methods, my treatment approach is designed to provide you with support and practical feedback so that you may better resolve current difficulities and longstanding psychological patterns. With sensitivity and compassion, I will help you find solutions to multiple life's challenges and psychological issues. You may value my implementation of syle that exudes empathy, cultural inclusiveness, supportiveness and confidentiality. In addition to gaining ongoing opportunities to increase levels of trust and levels of confidence during your psychotherapeutic experience, you should gain valuable opportunities to solidify and broaden your foundation of existing strengths.
By blending conventional and alternative approaches, I will generally utilize a variety of styles and techniques that will be the most beneficial to your therapeutic process. My primary psychotherapeutic modality is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy as it builds insight and explores healthy ways to guide actions and responses. A treatment plan that is developed through a joint partnership between you and myself is the change tool that identifies problems, long-term goals and steps and strategies to reach related goals throughout your psychotherapeutic process.
In addition to the quality provision of psychotherapeutic services for adults, I provide treatment for children and adolescents. Relevants treatment is provided in a creative play therapy environment where natural self-expression is encouraged and comfort levels enhanced.
Diversified Family Interventions provides comprehensive psychotherapy for individuals, couples, adolescents, children and families. Special focus groups may be periodically scheduled throughout the year. Lectures and seminars are provided on the large group level upon request.
Most individuals in our practice participate in pychotherapy sessions on a once a week basis. Still others participate on a less frequent basis, i.e., bi-weekly or once a month, etc. Some individuals may be seen for an extended period of time during their weekly session (i.e. 2+ hours per weekly session) when needed. A more extensive outpatient level of care may involve receiving a one hour session of therapy for two to five days in a given week, depending upon the intensity of need. Level of need is usually determined in joint partnership between the psychotherapist and the client during the treatment plan process or as identified by the client's current life's circumstances. Appointments are available during the day, evenings and weekends for your convenience.
Within a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, patients may achieve the personal growth levels they are striving for. We value seeing patients of many ages, genders, religious orientations and ethnicities.
This culturally inclusive practice values seeing individuals of all ethnicities and genres. As such, we strive to view racially sensitive issues and other issues through the lense of the patient in a culturally competent, open-minded and respectful way and not through any lense that is opinionated, insensitive or pre-determined. Spanish bi-lingual services are routinely provided in this practice as requested and needed. Upon request, translation services for other languages may possibly be arranged as well.
